I can answer your questions on: general chemistry; cellular biology and microbiology, lab supplies, microfluidics, and  Laboratory Safety/Orientation.

If you have never worked in a laboratory, I can work with you so you are able to complete your experiments and projects.

Penny Burke has been a laboratory technician for over 20 years and graduated from Tompkins Cortland Community College in May 2012 with a degree in Biotechnology.  She has worked for the Department of Biochemistry and acquired a certificate as a Research Laboratory Animal Technician working primarily with transgenic mice.  Before coming to work in the Nanobiotechnology Center she was a Laboratory Technician with the United States Equestrian Federation preforming many types of drug testing on horses.  She is currently the Senior Lab Technician for the NBTC labs.
